Stung Meanchey

This is our main site and there are three multi-level buildings accommodating over 1000 students.

Students at the primary school have classes in the Cambodian national curriculum each weekday from 7:45 am to 11:00 am. From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm students study English. Stung Meanchey is also the site for the PIO high school. Following approval from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in 2016 PIO provides high school classes for students in Grades 7 - Grade 12. The students follow a curriculum comprising 14 subjects, exactly the same as in public schools.

PIO High School

In 2016 the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MOEYS) signed an MOU with PIO enabling PIO to provide secondary education to students in Grades 7 - 12.The classes are provided for students graduating from Grade 6 at the Stung Meanchey and Borey Santepheap 2 schools. The program is monitored regularly by officials from MOEYS and they require regular reports to ensure that the PIO high school program is of a good standard. Providing high school tuition at PIO means that students can continue to receive good quality teaching at no cost to themselves or their families. Removing the economic barrier to higher education significantly reduces the likelihood of students dropping out while in lower high school.

Borey Keila

The PIO school at Borey Keila provides classes from at four levels from kindergarten to Level 4. As at Stung Meanchey school, At present there are over 200 children studying for 3 hours per day, five days a week. When they are not attending PIO they study at public schools.
